NJ Hospital Stories Project
As you begin to think about telling your experiences in the hospital, remember that your story will remain anonymous. If telling your story will be too difficult for you, stop now, and just complete the survey that follows the story section.
We hope that telling your story will be a positive experience for you, and will help us improve conditions for other consumers in the future.
Below are a number of questions that might help you in the process of telling your story. These are only general suggestions.
Questions:
- Describe what happened that led to your hospitalization.
- Describe what happened when you got there.
- Tell how you were treated by the staff.
- Tell how were you treated by the other patients
- Think back to your hospital stay and tell about the experiences that stand out in your mind.
- Describe what you would like people to know about New Jerseys’ State and County Hospitals.
