In response to the accounts of violence and overcrowding at our state and county psychiatric hospitals, the Consumer Advocacy Partnership is seeking information from consumers about problems during stays in county or state hospitals within the last five years. We are asking you to share your experiences so that we can compile an accounting of first hand experience to present to the highest leadership in state government. We are particularly interested in effecting improvements in hospitals and hope to accompany the stories with recommendations that will reduce violence, crowding and improve treatment.
By adding your personal story to those of other consumers in New Jersey, we will be able to make a real difference in the conditions at our state and county psychiatric hospitals. Please take a few minutes of your time to tell your story and answer a few questions. All the information collected will be completely anonymous. Its sole use will be for the purpose of illustrating conditions in our hospitals. Thank you for the courage it takes to share your story.
